🔀 Self-Recognition: ADHD, Autism, or Both?
A quiz from ND Hive. Companion to “ADHD vs Autism”
What this is
ADHD and autism share many surface features but differ in core wiring. Most adults who self-recognize one find pieces of the other but don’t know how to interpret them. This quiz helps you sort which patterns actually fit you and where the AUDHD overlap might apply.
Takes 8 minutes. Score yourself at the end.

Scoring
| Bucket | Score |
|---|---|
| ADHD points | _____ |
| Autism points | _____ |
| Both points | _____ |
Interpretation
If ADHD score is significantly higher than Autism (5+ point gap): ADHD is your stronger pattern. Worth reading the ADHD-focused content first.
If Autism score is significantly higher than ADHD (5+ point gap): Autism is your stronger pattern. The autistic-adult resources will land harder.
If both scores are within 4 points of each other AND your “Both” score is 6+: You are likely AUDHD. Both wirings are active. Read the AUDHD Authority page next.
If all three scores are low: You may be navigating something different (CPTSD, anxiety, depression, sensory processing differences) that mimics these patterns. Worth exploring with a clinician.
What to do next
Regardless of the result:
- A quiz score is not a diagnosis. A clinician can do that. This is a signal.
- The patterns are real even when the labels are messy. If you recognized yourself, you recognized yourself.
- AUDHD is undercounted. Many adults are diagnosed with one and discover the other years later. If “Both” was your highest score, that’s data worth taking seriously.
