(And What I Was Too Tired to Keep Pretending)

I didn't build ND Hive because it was a good business idea.

I built it because I was exhausted. Because I had watched too many brilliant, creative, deeply feeling people… people just like me… spend years believing something was fundamentally broken about them. Because I had been that person. And because I couldn't keep pretending the existing support systems were enough.

They weren't. They aren't.

The Moment I Stopped Staying Quiet

For a long time, I suffered quietly. That's what we do, right? We mask. We adapt. We white-knuckle our way through systems that were never designed for how our brains work, and when we inevitably struggle, we tell ourselves it's our fault.

I'm AuDHD, autistic and ADHD and I spent years believing that if I just tried harder, if I was just more disciplined, more organised, more normal, I would finally feel okay. I watched other neurodivergent entrepreneurs doing the same thing. Burning out. Isolating. Quietly falling apart while building something the world needed.

That belief, that we are the problem… is a lie. And I got to a point where I couldn't let it go unchallenged anymore.

So I built ND Hive.

What the ADHD Coaching World Was Getting Wrong

When I started looking at what was out there for neurodivergent adults, I found a lot of surface-level advice. Task lists. Productivity hacks. Tips that were well-meaning but built entirely on a neurotypical understanding of how people function.

Here's what I kept seeing:

"You just need more discipline." No. ADHD isn't a willpower problem. It's a neurological difference. Telling an ADHD brain to just try harder is like telling someone with a broken leg to try walking more gracefully. It doesn't work, and it makes us feel worse about ourselves when it doesn't.

"You need to get more organised." Most ADHD adults I know are working twice as hard as the people around them. The problem isn't effort — it's that the systems they're using weren't built for how their brains actually function.

"There are free resources everywhere." Sure. And they're not enough. Real ADHD coaching, real neurodivergent community — the kind where you can be fully yourself without performing or masking — that's not a luxury. It's scaffolding. It's the difference between drowning and surviving.

Newly diagnosed adults were getting a label and a pamphlet. Neurodivergent entrepreneurs were burning out in isolation, convinced their struggles were personal failures. And almost no one was talking about the specific, exhausting reality of being AuDHD in a world that doesn't know what to do with you.

I knew what was missing. I had lived it.

What ND Hive Actually Is

ND Hive isn't another to-do list dressed up as support. It's a neurodivergent community built by and for people who are done pretending to be someone they're not.

We have neurodivergent coaches, people who don't just understand ADHD in theory, but who live it. We use dopamine-driven systems because that's what actually works for our brains. We create safe group environments where nobody needs to mask or perform or explain themselves. We offer gentle structure, community accountability, and co-regulation because those things matter.

And we're here a lot. Over 10 hours of daily coaching support, because a neurodivergent brain doesn't always struggle on a schedule.

The results have been real:

  • 75% of members report reduced stress within just 7 days

  • 100% of neurodivergent entrepreneurs say they feel less isolated and more productive

  • 45% of corporate employees show measurable improvement in productivity

  • 25% experience decreased decision fatigue

These aren't numbers I'm proud of in a cold, business-metric way. They're numbers that make me want to cry a little, honestly. Because behind each one is a person who finally stopped carrying it alone.

For the Person Who Found This Page

Maybe you found ND Hive because you're newly diagnosed and don't know where to start. Maybe you're an ADHD entrepreneur who's been grinding for years and quietly wondering if it's supposed to feel this hard. Maybe you're AuDHD like me and you've never found a space that quite fits.

I want you to hear this:

You are not the problem. You have never been the problem.

The systems were wrong. The frameworks were wrong. The advice to just try harder was wrong.

You don't need to figure this out alone. You were never supposed to.

That's why ND Hive exists… not as a product, not as a program, but as a place. A place where your brain is not a liability. Where your struggles are not character flaws. Where you can finally breathe around people who get it.

I built it because I needed it. I built it because you need it. And I built it because somewhere along the way, I stopped being okay with staying quiet.

I hope you'll join us.
